The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Selman Küdüs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Róbson Netto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After 4 played minutes Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Jacinto. Valério Andrade hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. F.C. KASABALI 45 were furious when Berker Özdoruk was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C. KASABALI 45 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Atlético Mineiro. Jorge de Senna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Haşmet Aktekin. 0-1. Atlético Mineiro's Róbson Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şimşek Olgun in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Valério Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Haşmet Aktekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maicon Bertassi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Maicon Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haşmet Aktekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selman Küdüs scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbson Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of F.C. KASABALI 45 booed when Atlético Mineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haşmet Aktekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Jacinto in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Selman Küdüs made the kick off in the second half. Haşmet Aktekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wanderson Koehler in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valério Andrade in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haşmet Aktekin saved F.C. KASABALI 45 from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Atlético Mineiro's Dinei Jacinto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, F.C. KASABALI 45's goalkeeper Haşmet Aktekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Paulista. With a little luck, F.C. KASABALI 45's Haşmet Aktekin got control of the ball when Valério Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haşmet Aktekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Bertassi in the 79th minute of the match. F.C. KASABALI 45's Şimşek Olgun got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Paulista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haşmet Aktekin came out and tried to block the shot, but Reynaldo Paulista slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 83rd minute. Róbson Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şimşek Olgun in the 89th minute of the match. Haşmet Aktekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wanderson Koehler in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see F.C. KASABALI 45 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
