Sidnei Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Magnusson went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Lencois getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Roberto Severo hit a great ball. Sidnei Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Åman in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lencois's goalkeeper Sidnei Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Magnusson in the 19th minute of play forced Lencois's goalkeeper Sidnei Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Magnusson in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sidnei Mendonça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the match, Lencois's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Svartengren came free, but Sidnei Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lencois were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Gotham City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto Severo took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Rodriguinho Salgado managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 38 minutes, Arne Alkvist made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lencois's Sidnei Mendonça tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 minutes, Eugênio Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lencois and the Gotham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gotham City's Bo Thidén was substituted for Hannes Månsson. A collision led to Lencois getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eugênio Barbosa hit a great ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Salgado to strike the kick off in the second half. Lencois's Sidnei Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Alkvist in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 minutes, Glauco da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lencois and the Gotham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Salgado in the 55th minute of play forced Gotham City's goalkeeper Jörn Bergkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Njurenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sidnei Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidnei Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Magnusson in the 59th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Anton Magnusson sped through Lencois's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sidnei Mendonça. Daniel Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Jan Åman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidnei Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 70 minutes into the match, Gotham City's Charlie Svartengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidnei Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 minutes Lencois's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ralf Njurenius who took care of the corner kick. Ralf Njurenius made a great header on Gotham City's corner, it was just that Lencois's Sidnei Mendonça managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 73rd minute, Roberto Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Lencois's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Åman came free, but Sidnei Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sidnei Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Jan Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugênio Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jörn Bergkvist made a huge save. Sidnei Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Magnusson in the 82nd minute of play. After 86 minutes, Charlie Svartengren made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lencois's Sidnei Mendonça tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Arne Alkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Mendonça was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Sidnei Mendonça came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Gotham City's Jan Åman. But to his dismay, Jan Åman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0.
