The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Muzaffer Kazım hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes, Tolunay Cire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AYYILDIZ and the BATMAN SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolunay Cire to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of BATMAN SK booed when AYYILDIZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peyami Özduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Yavuz Selimhan Hacıağa fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BATMAN SK's protests and gave Yavuz Selimhan Hacıağa a yellow card for diving instead. Yavuz Selimhan Hacıağa kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A hard, long distance shot from Aşır Berkkan flew over the goal. Hürkan Zeynel charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hürkan Zeynel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, BATMAN SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hürkan Zeynel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AYYILDIZ booed when BATMAN SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hürkan Zeynel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, AYYILDIZ's Gökalp Behram tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, BATMAN SK's İsmail Cem Ziver got control of the ball when Gökalp Behram tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Ethem Reşit to maneuver through the defense. Peyami Özduru struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. İsmail Cem Ziver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AYYILDIZ. İsmail Cem Ziver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökalp Behram, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th match minute, BATMAN SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selimhan Hacıağa to maneuver through the defense. After 41st play minutes Gökalp Behram shot 1-0, a short shot which went by İsmail Cem Ziver and just under the crossbar into goal. BATMAN SK's İsmail Cem Ziver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşır Berkkan in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüsnü İşkembeci to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes BATMAN SK got a freekick which was hit by Suphi Başkaynak. İsmail Cem Ziver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökalp Behram, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, BATMAN SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gökalp Behram came free, but İsmail Cem Ziver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, İbrahim Ethem Reşit notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of BATMAN SK's İsmail Cem Ziver. İsmail Cem Ziver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Hüsnü İşkembeci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İbrahim Ethem Reşit struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. İsmail Cem Ziver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AYYILDIZ. Gökalp Behram might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İsmail Cem Ziver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökalp Behram ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Hacı Gayret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İsmail Cem Ziver. BATMAN SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hacı Gayret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 81 minutes into the game, Gökalp Behram cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. İsmail Cem Ziver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Gökalp Behram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmail Cem Ziver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökalp Behram might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İsmail Cem Ziver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökalp Behram ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AYYILDIZ's Esen Şennur got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that AYYILDIZ were the better team. AYYILDIZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
