Kasper Vallman's late challenge caught a Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasper Vallman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Kasper Vallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 25th minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Holger Vennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Vallman in the 37th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Alper Benli put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Holger Vennerlund. Holger Vennerlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Copil went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alper Benli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mădălin Cangeopol made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adam Copil however managed to control. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Holger Vennerlund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 57 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Holger Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Hammarberg to maneuver through the defense. Lars Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Iordache having to interfere. Liviu Iordache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper Vallman's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Liviu Iordache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Vallman in the 67th minute of play. When Albert Norberg fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnesta Oilers's protests and gave Albert Norberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Gnesta Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Albert Norberg. A collision led to Gnesta Oilers getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jonas Smitt hit a great ball. Holger Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alper Benli, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alper Benli did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Holger Vennerlund 84 minutes into the match. Mădălin Cangeopol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Gnesta Oilers's Erik Lundqvist got a free kick in the 89th minute. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Liviu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Bergman in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tractorul Satulung -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
