Rafael Martino came out of the goal and Maximiano Caballero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telesforo De Paula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Martino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Amadeo Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garaona Camino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Joachim Zaplana got a free kick in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Oxel came free, but Garaona Camino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiano Caballero couldn't finish the play. Rafael Martino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Joachim Zaplana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goal looked a bit too open when Telesforo De Paula came free, but Rafael Martino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Sportivo Italiano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
