The referee ignored Karamázov's protests and gave Ricardo Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. Leonard Pașcanu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ionel Scripcaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Maxin in the 41st minute of the match.
