The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Maras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Ogică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Ogică. Nicodim Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofoklis Siamantouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Malezas charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charis Malezas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charis Malezas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Leonidas Eleftherakis made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Niculae Arbore sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofoklis Siamantouras in the 18th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Nicodim Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Dimos Paschalis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Kerkyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Miclescu came free, but Leonidas Eleftherakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Koulis Kouloucheris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodim Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Tsilikas in the 30th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Stathis Livathinos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu. Nicodim Arghirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Livathinos in the 38th minute of play. Leonidas Eleftherakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Aalexoaiei in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Niculae Arbore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Sofoklis Siamantouras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodim Arghirescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olimpiu Iorgu to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicodim Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofoklis Siamantouras in the 52nd minute of the match. Stamatis Tsilikas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nicodim Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicodim Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Livathinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes, Niculae Arbore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathian Wolves and the Kerkyra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Carpathian Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Arbore to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kerkyra FC's Stamatis Tsilikas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Kerkyra FC's Stathis Livathinos got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kerkyra FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Koulis Kouloucheris hit a great ball. Niculae Arbore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Eleftherakis having to interfere. Stamatis Tsilikas in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicodim Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofoklis Siamantouras in the 83rd minute of the match. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Siamantouras in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Stathis Livathinos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicodim Arghirescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Koulis Kouloucheris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicodim Arghirescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Koulis Kouloucheris slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 92nd minute. The Kerkyra FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kerkyra FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
