After 10 minutes, Aktaç Tansan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. GreenUnited's Oliviero Bono tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolas Kusko hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Wen Zhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliviero Bono having to interfere. Ace Mace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartzen Pons, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimo Bratuti to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktaç Tansan in the 21st minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Oliviero Bono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attila Kádár did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Oliviero Bono 22 minutes into the match. Oliviero Bono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Kádár in the 25th minute of the match. GreenUnited's Oliviero Bono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Kádár in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Kádár in the 27th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Oliviero Bono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliviero Bono made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Wen Zhi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, GreenUnited's Teo Angeles got a free kick in the 37th minute. Alexander Wahlnäs hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Attila Kádár took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Oliviero Bono to make any attempt to save it. Aktaç Tansan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliviero Bono having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fresco Bengochea was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarracino Ser to maneuver through the defense. Oliviero Bono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Zhi in the 51st minute of play. Wen Zhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Oliviero Bono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stardust Unicorns XI's Aktaç Tansan got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliviero Bono made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The Stardust Unicorns XI fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Attila Kádár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wen Zhi fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stardust Unicorns XI's protests and gave Wen Zhi a yellow card for diving instead. Oliviero Bono didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Rune Nord went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Stardust Unicorns XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wen Zhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliviero Bono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Kádár in the 88th minute of play.
