Sven-Arne Stål could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Czeslaw Rakiewicz made a huge save. Przemyslaw Hetman scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Ersman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Piast Chęciny's goalkeeper Czeslaw Rakiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Arne Stål. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Hetman in the 15th minute of play forced Örsundsbro's goalkeeper Karl Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Przemyslaw Hetman sped through Örsundsbro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl Ersman. Sven-Arne Stål received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Czeslaw Rakiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Örsundsbro defense, Napoleon Rybak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Ersman. The Örsundsbro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Ersman should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Hetman came free, but Karl Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Ersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Dankowski in the 31st minute of the match. Karl Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Dankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Örsundsbro defense, Napoleon Rybak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Ersman. The Örsundsbro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Ersman should have stopped the shot. Karl Ersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Dankowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes into the game, Örsundsbro's Sven-Arne Stål nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Czeslaw Rakiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Przemyslaw Hetman was the one to do the kick off. Karl Ersman was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Boguslaw Dankowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boguslaw Dankowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Karl Ersman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Ankiewicz in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Boguslaw Dankowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Karl Ersman to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute, Boguslaw Dankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Rybak in the 76th minute of play. Sven-Arne Stål recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Piast Chęciny's Tadeusz Rawa made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Ersman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Rybak came free, but Karl Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grzegorz Ankiewicz got free with Karl Ersman in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Rawa came free, but Karl Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Ersman was a little too slow when Przemyslaw Hetman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-10. When the match was over Piast Chęciny could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Örsundsbro throughout the match.
