After the first half Compostela FSCMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dumitru Tolea was the one to do the kick off. Luís Eduardo Prado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Dark Prophets's Radu Cucerzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. Evandro Bastos scored 0-9 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Cucerzan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dark Prophets's Radu Cucerzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Dark Prophets got a freekick which was hit by Costică Hârlab. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Bastos got free with Radu Cucerzan in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Compostela FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
