The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Dan Tinu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Kapogiannopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Tinu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dan Tinu came free, but Giannis Kapogiannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Cipău hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes Scorpions -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Argyris Moustakis who took care of the corner kick. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Vătăşel in the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Green Hell F.C. defense, Alex Vrânceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. The Green Hell F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Kapogiannopoulos should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Tinu in the 31st minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Giannis Kapogiannopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Green Hell F.C.'s Giannis Kapogiannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Cipău in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Green Hell F.C. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Isidoros Petroulis hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Green Hell F.C. defense, Dan Tinu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. The Green Hell F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Kapogiannopoulos should have stopped the shot. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Vătăşel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dan Tinu took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vassilis Paltoudenios kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Tinu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Dan Tinu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. Dan Tinu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Cristinel Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Vournas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Tinu in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menios Karagiorgis in the 58th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Green Hell F.C.'s Giannis Kapogiannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Vătăşel in the 61st minute of play. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Cipău in the 75th minute. In the 85th minute of the match, Octav Vătăşel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giannis Kapogiannopoulos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when Green Hell F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Pentedekas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st play minute Traian Uzuneanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. 0-7. When the match was over Scorpions -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Green Hell F.C. throughout the match.
