If Júnior Galego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute of the match, Amílcar Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo Queiroz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amílcar Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Paulo Queiroz made a huge save. ZEZOM TEAM's Aquilino Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheito Molek in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Ricardinho Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the ZEZOM TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ZEZOM TEAM booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Serafim Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limoeiro-PE FC's Paulo Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Limoeiro-PE FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Arruda in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Limoeiro-PE FC's zone, Amílcar Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Queiroz came out of the goal and Amílcar Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílcar Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Paulo Queiroz made a huge save. A collision led to ZEZOM TEAM getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Afonso Sacadura hit a great ball. Cheito Molek succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After a rather tough play, ZEZOM TEAM's Isidoro Figueiras got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yan Koban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júnior Galego in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Júnior Galego sped through ZEZOM TEAM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aquilino Pires. In the 56th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Galego to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Isidoro Figueiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cheito Molek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yan Koban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquilino Pires came out and tried to block the shot, but Yan Koban slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 74th minute. Aquilino Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Passos. Paulo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Limoeiro-PE FC's Júnior Galego slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquilino Pires. That made the score 1-4 after 80 minutes of play. Aquilino Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheito Molek in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Amílcar Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Amílcar Mota notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Limoeiro-PE FC's Paulo Queiroz. Paulo Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Mota in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Cheito Molek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limoeiro-PE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZEZOM TEAM the free kick. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cheito Molek hit a great ball. Amílcar Mota scored 3-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
