The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gábor Szaniszló didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trifillia.FC's Panos Stelakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csaba Kossuth in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Miklós Bodnár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panos Stelakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 66 minutes, Markos Pittarakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trifillia.FC and the Gyál United players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aggelos Balafas in the 69th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Mihály Földesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihály Földesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omiros Venetidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panos Stelakos was a little too slow when Levente Nagy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 80th minute, Thanasis Tsalikis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihály Földesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Mertsanidis in the 83rd minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Mihály Földesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Csaba Lisztes hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Omiros Venetidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihály Földesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Gyál United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levente Nagy to maneuver through the defense. Panos Stelakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Kossuth, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Gyál United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
