A hard shot 5 in the game by Freddie Boston from a close distance when the talented Salvador Ramond managed to make a qualified save. Quitilipi's players were relieved. Quitilipi's Salvador Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirk Monk in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Hector Silvanito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quitilipi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Salvador Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Monk in the 30th minute of the match. Guaberto Kauldi scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfred Clemence, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Robustiano Ulizes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Flamengo's Alfred Clemence. Alfred Clemence was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Zane Dyson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Salvador Ramond, 2-3. Eddie Wilkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Salvador Ramond made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Silvanito to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Flamengo's Kirk Monk got a free kick in the 51st minute. Alfred Clemence made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Guaberto Kauldi sent off a good shot on target. Ruperto Goizeder hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Hector Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Clemence having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Zane Dyson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Ramond. Quitilipi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zane Dyson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 68th minute Zane Dyson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Ramond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo's Freddie Boston got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Freddie Boston ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Ramond was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Guaberto Kauldi hit a great ball. Arturo Felipo's late challenge caught a Flamengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Felipo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Ramond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddie Wilkins went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Teofilo Leobardo hit a great ball. Salvador Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Monk in the 92nd minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Silvano Javiero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Javiero. Flamengo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
