In the 16th minute of the game, Rüdiger Vetsch landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Artemio Hermon's late challenge caught a ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Hermon helped the player get up and apologised. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Elia Mauchle was substituted for Rüdiger Vetsch. A collision led to Hydra getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hydra reached it. 47 minutes into the match, Silverio Abeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wolfgang Domuzeti. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silverio Abeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Cakir made a kick off. Orlando Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Mauchle in the 57th minute of play. Hydra's Orlando Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Cakir in the 59th minute of play. Silverio Abeitia kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Nicanor Azubeli took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wolfgang Domuzeti. Wolfgang Domuzeti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Hydra's Lucio Arotza was substituted for Silverio Abeitia.
