Andre Agassi scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Mero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Bešta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Andre Agassi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Anier Mero. Anier Mero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 28 minutes, La Bešta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's supporters crossed their fingers, but La Bešta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anier Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Linberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match MAFFIAN got a corner. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Börje Frisk ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rasmus Kilberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Anier Mero did a great save. Rasmus Kilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Andre Agassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Bešta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aron Dahlbom came out and tried to block the shot, but La Bešta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 37th minute. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Albino Steven made the kick off in the second half. Anier Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Agassi in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andre Agassi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Mero saved Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş from getting behind. MAFFIAN were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Börje Frisk took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Börje Frisk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anier Mero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Rasmus Kilberg fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Rasmus Kilberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Rasmus Kilberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Enzo Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Mero was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Mats Wilander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mats Wilander really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's goalkeeper Anier Mero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andre Agassi. MAFFIAN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
