SeleSantos FC's Roberto Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidro Lascano in the 17th minute of play. Sidro Lascano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Sidro Lascano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Sidro Lascano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Olimpia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidro Lascano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, SeleSantos FC's Roberto Oliveira got control of the ball when Sidro Lascano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Tabares kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Eliazar Salantes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paulo Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Braga in the 47th minute of the match.

Paulo Cabrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Braga's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Sidro Lascano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute Club Olimpia were awarded a corner. Eliazar Salantes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Club Olimpia's Alan Cano to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Oliveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Luiz Eduardo Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. SeleSantos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Eduardo Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Cabrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santutxo Casquete charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santutxo Casquete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santutxo Casquete to maneuver through the defense. In the 65thth minute of the game Luiz Eduardo Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Olimpia's Paulo Cabrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidro Lascano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Sidro Lascano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Olimpia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SeleSantos FC had controlled the match.
