OZDEMIR FC's Gaston Durango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paraense in the 7th minute of play. When Teodor Froiz fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OZDEMIR FC's protests and gave Teodor Froiz a yellow card for diving instead. Gaston Durango didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Paraense went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 16 minutes, Zé Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Zé Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Durango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Luizão de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Durango. OZDEMIR FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizão de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Rik Arteaga kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the OZDEMIR FC defense, Luizão de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Durango. The OZDEMIR FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Durango should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Chinho FC's Gilson de Alcântara got control of the ball when Edelmiro Villalcazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gaston Durango tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Rik Arteaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OZDEMIR FC and the Chinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rik Arteaga kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gaston Durango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Oxel Confercin managed to get in a good position for a shot. OZDEMIR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oxel Confercin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilson de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Paraense to make the kick off. Mazuste Villafuentes charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mazuste Villafuentes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, OZDEMIR FC's Mazuste Villafuentes got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gaston Durango was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Paraense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 52 minute of play. Gilson de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Villalcazar in the 57th minute of play. Gaston Durango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Elvar Tender came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the OZDEMIR FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvar Tender couldn't finish the play. Luizão de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Durango having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Chinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Chinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizão de Brito. OZDEMIR FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zé Paraense 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. In the 82nd minute Zé Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Durango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. OZDEMIR FC's Gaston Durango proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save OZDEMIR FC from getting a goal against them. Gaston Durango made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã Prado in the 91st minute. Gilson de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nisio Bildosteguy in the 96th minute of the match. Chinho FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
