The Bustick Sport fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Haimar should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Romário Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Haimar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Noel Duarte hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Restu got free with Eriberto Pinheiro in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Ricart Futebol Clube were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elói Donato to strike the kick off in the second half. If Marcinho do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when Bustick Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position.
