Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Indiana University's Barbaros Hatipoğlu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zanko Novkirishki during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes CSKA Vladimirtsi got a freekick which was hit by Zanko Novkirishki. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Vladimirtsi's zone, Buğrahan Keremşah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iskren Pchelarov came out of the goal and Buğrahan Keremşah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barbaros Hatipoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Iskren Pchelarov made a huge save. After 10 played minutes CSKA Vladimirtsi got a freekick which was hit by Zlatin Ibrishimov. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Vladimirtsi's zone, Barbaros Hatipoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iskren Pchelarov came out of the goal and Barbaros Hatipoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Yanko Piperevski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Vladimirtsi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Indiana University the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Zlatin Ibrishimov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the CSKA Vladimirtsi defense, Barbaros Hatipoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iskren Pchelarov. The CSKA Vladimirtsi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iskren Pchelarov should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Barbaros Hatipoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indiana University's supporters rose to their feet, but Barbaros Hatipoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iskren Pchelarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Barbaros Hatipoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Indiana University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barbaros Hatipoğlu couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Buğrahan Keremşah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iskren Pchelarov. CSKA Vladimirtsi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Buğrahan Keremşah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 44th minute, Indiana University's Barbaros Hatipoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iskren Pchelarov. Iskren Pchelarov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of CSKA Vladimirtsi booed when Indiana University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Onur Sarim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iskren Pchelarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barbaros Hatipoğlu in the 57th minute of the match. Barbaros Hatipoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Barbaros Hatipoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iskren Pchelarov was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Barbaros Hatipoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pavel Paunchev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barışcan İnegöllü. That made the score 6-1 in the 82 minute of play. When Barbaros Hatipoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Indiana University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barbaros Hatipoğlu couldn't finish the play. Iskren Pchelarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barbaros Hatipoğlu in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Indiana University fully deserved thier win.
