Gonzalo Rutenio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Isauro having to make a save. In the 46thth minute of the game Faustino Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER de Córdoba's Hernan Florian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Rutenio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. INTER de Córdoba's Gonzalo Rutenio managed to work through LOS MENTI's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gonzalo Rutenio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gonzalo Rutenio struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Teodosio Isauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER de Córdoba. A collision led to LOS MENTI getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Everardo Tavio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Rutenio in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Isauro saved LOS MENTI from getting behind. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Amadeo Sasoin sped through INTER de Córdoba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernan Florian. 67 minutes into the game, Alvaro Espiridion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER de Córdoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS MENTI the free kick. Hernan Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Sasoin in the 70th minute of play. INTER de Córdoba's Hernan Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Cuartio in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, INTER de Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Sasoin came free, but Hernan Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, LOS MENTI's Faustino Cedro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Florian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Cuartio in the 88th minute of play. Amadeo Sasoin scored 5-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Florian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's Faustino Cedro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Florian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. INTER de Córdoba's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
