The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, one of KINROAD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KINROAD. Danilo Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Oriol struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Danilo Goyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Saladillo FC. In the 23rd minute, Felipe Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Goyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Fidel Oriol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Goyo. KINROAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Oriol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a little luck, Atletico Saladillo FC's Isidoro Regis got control of the ball when Rosendo Acuña tried to sneak it across the goal line.
