LOS MENTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER de Córdoba the free kick. After a rather tough play, LOS MENTI's Joaquin Miliano got a free kick in the 11th minute. Carlos Juvenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Florian having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Aristides Charro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Teodosio Isauro to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of INTER de Córdoba booed when LOS MENTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Cuartio in the 38th minute of play. Omar Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Florian having to interfere. Omar Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Cuartio was the one to do the kick off. Horacio Abechuco charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Abechuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Hernan Florian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Inocencio Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Juvenal in the 67th minute of play forced INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Hernan Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Florian came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS MENTI's Faustino Cedro. But to his dismay, Faustino Cedro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Constantino Lucila hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Charro in the 77th minute of play forced LOS MENTI's goalkeeper Teodosio Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Cedro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hernan Florian firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, INTER de Córdoba's Anier Giraldo got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to LOS MENTI getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Carlos Juvenal hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Lucila to maneuver through the defense.
