In the 11th match minute, UPAU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Loren to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Gustavo da Mata scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Inocente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nereo Lia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Lothart having to interfere. Felix Inocente made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jonathan Calleri sent off a good shot on target. After 26 played minutes PIAUÍ FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo da Mata. In the 28th minute, Herminio Guifre made a precise shot to the right of Yves Lothart. PIAUÍ FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Túlio Munhoz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Adrianinho Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PIAUÍ FC's protests and gave Adrianinho Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo da Mata notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of UPAU FC's Felix Inocente. Felix Inocente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Calleri made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Jonathan Calleri made a precise shot to the right of Felix Inocente.
