The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Perrucho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cormoranii -MM-:s goal. Urbano Remicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Godeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hektor Tsiaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st match minute, Perrucho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Dayam to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Victorino Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the game, Valer Stăniloaie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Urbano Remicio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusebiu Godeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perrucho FC's Urbano Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Drăgoi in the 76th minute of play. Urbano Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Drăgoi in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Pavel Bușcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hektor Tsiaris in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Zoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valer Stăniloaie hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Cormoranii -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
