The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinson Flores got free with Francesco Toldo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estefan Vizcarreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svetozar Popchev in the 28th minute of the match. Estefan Vizcarreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetozar Popchev in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, THE CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Verratti to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svetozar Popchev to make the kick off. In the 92nd minute of the match, Svetozar Popchev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Estefan Vizcarreto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edinson Flores's late challenge caught a THE CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinson Flores helped the player get up and apologised. Edinson Flores hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. THE CLUB played a much better game than Nova Soccer and deserved their victory. The Nova Soccer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
