Sidney Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidney Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sidney Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Hernani da Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vachon Camaño in the 5th minute. The supporters of AC Korban booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oso Freyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Vachon Camaño. Guillen Ubiña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Albuquerque went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hernani da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Cuadrillero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime de Castro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Albuquerque in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vachon Camaño to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Cuadrillero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernani da Rocha came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilmar Cuadrillero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. A hard shot 38 in the game by Gilmar Cuadrillero from a close distance when the talented Hernani da Rocha managed to make a qualified save. AC Korban's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléber da Silveira during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kléber da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Bruno Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nardo Tuo in the 46th minute of the match. When Favila Heras fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Favila Heras a yellow card for diving instead. Favila Heras hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovani Pirani to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, AC Korban's Elivélton Palmeira got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Korban's zone, Favila Heras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani da Rocha came out of the goal and Favila Heras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AC Korban booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vachon Camaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Favila Heras came free, but Hernani da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilmar Cuadrillero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sporting Buceo's Sengrat Vid got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nardo Tuo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani da Rocha having to interfere. When Sengrat Vid fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Sengrat Vid a yellow card for diving instead. Sengrat Vid kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
