Bahri Tolunay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Bernebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Chucky Lozano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Petrigai made a kick off. In the 56th minute Baycan Ünsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. nRdLiFe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vahap Pekiner in the 57th minute. nRdLiFe's Vahap Pekiner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cornelio Bermudo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
