Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfonso Damiani got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Malatesta. In the 4th match minute, Fiume Veneto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Urbani to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Esposito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Azenha in the 9th minute. After 12 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Azenha. Alfonso Damiani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucílio Bentes having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's Cristoforo Schirone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucílio Bentes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucílio Bentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Schirone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valadas's Lucílio Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Borel in the 38th minute of play. After 39th play minutes Fabiano Borel shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Lucílio Bentes and just under the crossbar into goal. Lucílio Bentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Damiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucílio Bentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Damiani in the 42nd minute of the match. Micael Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Sílvio Azenha notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fiume Veneto's Emilio Esposito. Emilio Esposito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Micael Macedo was the one to do the kick off. When Cristoforo Schirone came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fiume Veneto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Schirone couldn't finish the play. Lucílio Bentes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Damiani's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Lucílio Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Schirone in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Wilson Castelo Branco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valadas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Edmondo Valcareggi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cristoforo Schirone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when André Martins came free, but Emilio Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wilson Castelo Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiume Veneto's attentive Edmondo Valcareggi managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Vilalobos made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd minute Micael Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valadas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesare Trotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 91st minute Cristoforo Schirone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucílio Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Valadas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Schirone came free, but Lucílio Bentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valadas's Micael Macedo got a free kick in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valadas fully deserved thier win.
