The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Efrain Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Strömberg in the 3rd minute of the match. Bernt Karlberg hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Asklöv had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Argoitz. RÚSTICOS F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Olof Asklöv was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in RÚSTICOS F.C's zone, Daniel Frykberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Argoitz came out of the goal and Daniel Frykberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hooligans FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernt Karlberg in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Strömberg came free, but Efrain Argoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Strömberg in the 22nd minute of play forced RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Efrain Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Stig Törnblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hooligans FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Strömberg in the 27th minute of play forced RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Efrain Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Stig Törnblom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Efrain Argoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Frykberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Argoitz having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Hooligans FC's Stig Törnblom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efrain Argoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciriaco Hanot hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Hooligans FC's Jonny Strömberg in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RÚSTICOS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Asklöv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hooligans FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RÚSTICOS F.C the free kick. The supporters of RÚSTICOS F.C booed when Hooligans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Asklöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hooligans FC's Tim Tidén got control of the ball when Ciriaco Hanot tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Hooligans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Sikström to maneuver through the defense. Hooligans FC's Stig Törnblom got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Daniel Frykberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Argoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 played minutes RÚSTICOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Orixe. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Stig Törnblom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hooligans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Törnblom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Argoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, RÚSTICOS F.C's Norberto Sustrai got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jonny Strömberg took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Argoitz. Efrain Argoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to Hooligans FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jonny Strömberg hit a great ball. Efrain Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Törnblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Törnblom in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Argoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Daniel Frykberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hooligans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Frykberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Argoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jonny Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Hooligans FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonny Strömberg couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Sven-Olof Asklöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fredric Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonny Strömberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Efrain Argoitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Hooligans FC's Tor Engström got a free kick in the 77th minute. Efrain Argoitz made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jonny Strömberg sent off a good shot on target. After 81 minutes RÚSTICOS F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernt Karlberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bernt Karlberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RÚSTICOS F.C's Efrain Argoitz did a great save. Jaime Telo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Telo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Telo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hooligans FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fredric Wallin hit a great ball. Jaime Telo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tim Tidén. Hooligans FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hooligans FC's Sören Sikström got a free kick in the 85th minute. RÚSTICOS F.C's Efrain Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Jakobsson in the 88th minute of play. Efrain Argoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonny Strömberg's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Norberto Sustrai hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Hooligans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Karlberg to maneuver through the defense.
