After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Fabio Jerico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Jerico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balázs Nagy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Peterdy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Cuartio to maneuver through the defense. Ákos Peterdy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Geofredo having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Attila Majer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dombiratosi Football Club and the Florida Gulf Coast players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute Ákos Peterdy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Dombiratosi Football Club's Zoltán Szakál nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Geofredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 46 minutes into the match, Dombiratosi Football Club's goalkeeper Balázs Nagy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Jerano. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Jerico to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Higinio Jerano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florida Gulf Coast's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dombiratosi Football Club the free kick. Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Florida Gulf Coast from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when Dombiratosi Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Sebes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Dombiratosi Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Jerano came free, but Balázs Nagy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoltán Szakál sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfréd Rácz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lucio Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. If Zsolt Sebes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ákos Peterdy in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Lukács Faragó dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucio Geofredo, 0-2. Balázs Nagy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Jerano in the 77th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Higinio Jerano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florida Gulf Coast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Szakál in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Geofredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 played minutes Dombiratosi Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Zoltán Szakál. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Zoltán Szakál took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Lucio Geofredo to make any attempt to save it. The Florida Gulf Coast supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dombiratosi Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Dombiratosi Football Club.
