Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Elzer started the match with the kick off. Lars Schira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes, Fredrik Hebnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the SV Bad Harzburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fredrik Hebnes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Kim Alnes fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsnes's protests and gave Kim Alnes a yellow card for diving instead. Kim Alnes kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Christoffer Jørgensen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Elzer in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Fredrik Hebnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, John Rambo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters rose to their feet, but John Rambo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Jørgensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes in the game, Lars Schira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christoffer Jørgensen having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, SV Bad Harzburg's Mark Elzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoffer Jørgensen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Welf Heinlein recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christoffer Jørgensen. Welf Heinlein showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Fredrik Hebnes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Alnes in the 28th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Buvarp scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Wiese, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christoffer Jørgensen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mark Elzer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 38 minute of play. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Zahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Karl Zahl made the kick off in the second half. Kim Alnes struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tim Wiese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsnes. In the 53rd minute Herbert Bäron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Jørgensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Karl Zahl made a precise shot to the right of Tim Wiese. SV Bad Harzburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Endre Svensen hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Lars Schira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Jørgensen. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Schira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 68th minute John Rambo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Jørgensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Halldor Sönksen made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Åsnes's Christoffer Jørgensen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Lars Schira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoffer Jørgensen was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. If Herbert Bäron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Jørgensen came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's John Rambo. But to his dismay, John Rambo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SV Bad Harzburg had played much better football throughout.
