Aleksander Ekblom had several of the 20 de Março FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Percival Montenegro as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 27th minute, Mazinho Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Cardozo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, one of 20 de Março FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 20 de Março FC. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Blomstermåla BK's Lennart Nilsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Percival Montenegro. If Jacinto Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Ekblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Percival Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Evaristo da Mata took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Johnsson. Åke Johnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jacinto Mendes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 65th playminute. Evaristo da Mata took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Johnsson. Åke Johnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Jacinto Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percival Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Ekblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Johnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 20 de Março FC's Percival Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Bergfeldt in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Bergfeldt came free, but Percival Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Blomstermåla BK's Jörgen Bergfeldt in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
