Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gică Curcă made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Campidelis. In the 6th minute, Silas Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Curcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Alin Piersic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alin Piersic hit a great ball. Florin Pruneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Falcão in the 16th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Florin Pruneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Florin Pruneda came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Luizinho Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Luizinho Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Velloso to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gică Curcă in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Pereira saved Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting behind. Luizinho Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Pruneda having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Bogdan Buzea got a free kick in the 30th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Luizinho Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizinho Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Fanaticii's Florin Pruneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Falcão in the 38th minute of play. Florin Pruneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Campidelis in the 40th minute of play. Florin Pruneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Campidelis in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Apostu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Severino Falcão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florin Pruneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Campidelis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Cordeiro in the 54th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Florin Pruneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Eric Apostu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Florin Pruneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ismael Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Măliță, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Lino Campidelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Pruneda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Campidelis ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizinho Cordeiro in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Pruneda saved FC Fanaticii from getting behind. Florin Pruneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Cordeiro in the 69th minute of the match. When Gigel Biriș fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fanaticii's protests and gave Gigel Biriș a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Fanaticii! When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Florin Pruneda. Emílio Veiga hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Mihai Măliță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dito Velloso hit a great ball.
