The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of 『挑战者』中国红牛Red Bull F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Chusca:s goal. When 于景亮 fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 『挑战者』中国红牛Red Bull F.C's protests and gave 于景亮 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 『挑战者』中国红牛Red Bull F.C getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. 于景亮 hit a great ball. Celestino Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 傅建鹏 having to interfere. In the 34th minute Sixto Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 傅建鹏 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Chusca booed when 『挑战者』中国红牛Red Bull F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tạ 赵明南 didn't get a good kick on the ball. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 马棋军 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Cugat to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 马棋军 in the 56th minute of play. 傅建鹏 didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Celestino Fonda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Fonda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's Anselmo Indar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 傅建鹏 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freddy Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 马棋军 in the 65th minute of the match. Club Atletico Chusca's Pastor Jurgi suffered a fractured collar bone after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 于景亮 was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Club Atletico Chusca made a substitution. Feliciano Rey replaced Pastor Jurgi. In the 67th match minute, 『挑战者』中国红牛Red Bull F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 于景亮 to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Celestino Fonda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. 傅建鹏 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celestino Fonda might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 傅建鹏. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Fonda ran back to his position shaking his head. 傅建鹏 came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Chusca's Celestino Fonda. But to his dismay, Celestino Fonda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 马棋军 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Freddy Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Celestino Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Chusca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
