The audience was convinced that Waldir Urbano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduard Halipa was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vadim Speianu during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Waldir Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos Dumont recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduard Halipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Dumont in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Santos Dumont left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd minute Santos Dumont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Halipa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Dărăscu charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Dărăscu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Mihail Dărăscu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. FC Truseni's Eduard Halipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Urbano in the 35th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Truseni defense, Waldir Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Halipa. The FC Truseni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Halipa should have stopped the shot. Mihail Dărăscu was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mihail Dărăscu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Severi Nybacka struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Eduard Halipa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Corderun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the game, Normando Fiúza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tasso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Truseni the free kick. After 96 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Normando Fiúza. The Tasso FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
