Daniel Wiborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Gusmão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, MoVenTorZ FC's Ciro Muzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Candeias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Apicella in the 19th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Nuno Candeias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when MoVenTorZ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Pasin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arrigo Aureli was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. Bruno Angelucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nuno Candeias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, MoVenTorZ FC's Ciro Muzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Candeias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Ciro Muzi sped through MEXACOMX's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Candeias.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Angelucci to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruno Angelucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Candeias having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo Abreu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Wiborg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Angelucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nuno Candeias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Leite hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Bruno Angelucci struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nuno Candeias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MoVenTorZ FC. Daniel Wiborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Abreu in the 74th minute of play. Nuno Candeias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Muzi in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bruno Angelucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. MoVenTorZ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Angelucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Candeias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MoVenTorZ FC's Ciro Muzi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nuno Candeias came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by MoVenTorZ FC's Ciro Muzi. But to his dismay, Ciro Muzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. The MEXACOMX fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when MEXACOMX's Murilo Abreu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dimas Camargo made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by David Barroso. After 95 played minutes MoVenTorZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Mandelli. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MoVenTorZ FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
