Raimundo Barrionuevo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julius Vismann's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Raido Raie kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Freddy Rubio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alan Arula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Urbano Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alan Arula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, phoinix fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Benvido to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes FC MatriX got a freekick which was hit by Tauno Nirk. In the 35th minute, Samuel Tänav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koit Raudsepp in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to phoinix fc getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gavino Cristofor hit a great ball. Ulises Orlanda hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in phoinix fc's zone, Kalvi Rink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Kalvi Rink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Benvido who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Alan Arula when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of phoinix fc booed when FC MatriX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaak Suurkaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. phoinix fc's Ernesto Herrera was substituted for Urbano Cambranes. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Benvido was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ernesto Herrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The phoinix fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 61st minute, Kalvi Rink reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raimundo Barrionuevo. The goal made the score 1-1. Samuel Tänav might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Barrionuevo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Tänav ran back to his position shaking his head. Casimiro Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, phoinix fc's Donato Benvido made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Arula was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Herrera in the 73rd minute of play forced FC MatriX's goalkeeper Alan Arula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Tänav in the 75th minute of play. Alan Arula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Diegotxe in the 77th minute of play. Alan Arula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 89 minutes into the match, FC MatriX's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Orlanda came free, but Alan Arula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tauno Nirk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Barrionuevo having to interfere. Kalvi Rink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kalvi Rink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The phoinix fc support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
