With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundo Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Knut Olsman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Knut Olsman ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Anabolic Boys's Knut Olsman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmundo Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmundo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Olsman in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Viktor Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmie Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Edmundo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Anabolic Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Anabolic Boys getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Valentin Samuelsson hit a great ball. Knut Olsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Edmundo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Real Brasília's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Olsman came free, but Edmundo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Marcello Lewandowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasília fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A well-hit corner resulted in Cássio Leme heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
