The throw-in from Nelson Dias in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Oylimpiamos Ψ's Kusko Bernabeytia. When Olentzaro Barrantes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Oylimpiamos Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olentzaro Barrantes couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kusko Bernabeytia in the 35th minute of play. Ian Gonçalves hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Perfecto Castaosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Tande skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Salles's late challenge caught a Oylimpiamos Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Salles helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Perfecto Castaosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Tande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Orkatz Vasallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oylimpiamos Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orkatz Vasallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Simão Maciel made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Maciel in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Salazano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Wanderson Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Umbrella Corporation fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Tande was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Olentzaro Barrantes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olentzaro Barrantes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Kismi Borroel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luís Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Umbrella Corporation's Pedro Luís Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kismi Borroel in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nelson Dias hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Kismi Borroel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Tande was relentless in the 76th minute of the game.
