After 4 minutes, Kennet Tidéksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunkens Surtröjor and the GKS Milenium players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kennet Tidéksson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Sunkens Surtröjor getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Albert Bergqvist hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Albert Bergqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunkens Surtröjor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Milenium the free kick. After 9 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Albert Bergqvist. Martin Bolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignacy Wojtkiewicz having to make a save. Torsten Ljungberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Logewnik in the 13th minute of play. Daniel Zecman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Ljungberg having to interfere. Daniel Zecman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Torsten Ljungberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ignacy Wojtkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunkens Surtröjor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyryl Logewnik got free with Torsten Ljungberg in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when GKS Milenium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Wyrostek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sunkens Surtröjor's zone, Boleslaw Dlugi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Ljungberg came out of the goal and Boleslaw Dlugi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes in the game, Boleslaw Dlugi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Torsten Ljungberg having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Bolin to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cyryl Logewnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Ljungberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacy Wojtkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bolin in the 55th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Daniel Zecman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Logewnik in the 68th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Torsten Ljungberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Ljungberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Logewnik in the 76th minute of play. Albert Bergqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Ignacy Wojtkiewicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 81st minute Martin Bolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Wojtkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Chants of Sunkens Surtröjor echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as GKS Milenium had held the ball for most of the match.
