Sunkens Surtröjor were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Free Pot's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Rydelius took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in André Offendahl heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 11th minute, Epifanio Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Gustaf Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Gregory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Martin Bolin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunkens Surtröjor's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Bolin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Gregory breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Sunkens Surtröjor's Gustaf Holmberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, André Offendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Free Pot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sunkens Surtröjor's zone, Mari Guanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Ljungberg came out of the goal and Mari Guanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Marías Plant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Ljungberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Marías Plant came free, but Torsten Ljungberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Sunkens Surtröjor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Svensson to maneuver through the defense.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marías Plant to strike the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Gregory came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sunkens Surtröjor's Gustaf Holmberg. But to his dismay, Gustaf Holmberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Filomeno Gregory showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Bolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Sunkens Surtröjor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Free Pot the free kick. Free Pot:s Filomeno Gregory showed great skill when he stopped Emil Rydelius:s penalty. Sunkens Surtröjor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
