But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mourad Rocchi couldn't finish the play. Manly FC's attentive Francesco Baresi managed to snatch the ball when Ryszard Rutkowski made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. GKS Milenium's Ignacy Wojtkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Milenium from getting a goal against them. Manly FC's Francesco Baresi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Witalis Kornasiewicz in the 26 minute of the game. GKS Milenium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Svetoslav Vardarov scored to the left of an out of position Ignacy Wojtkiewicz, making the score, 1-0. Sydney Ross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Logewnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. GKS Milenium's Ignacy Wojtkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetoslav Vardarov in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Manly FC's Svetoslav Vardarov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ignacy Wojtkiewicz. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. Witalis Kornasiewicz made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Boleslaw Dlugi. 46 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Ignacy Wojtkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randle Rutledge.

Ignacy Wojtkiewicz came out of the goal and Svetoslav Vardarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rodd Laing hit a great ball. After some careless play in the GKS Milenium defense, Rodd Laing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacy Wojtkiewicz. The GKS Milenium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacy Wojtkiewicz should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Rodd Laing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rodd Laing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacy Wojtkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Laing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manly FC fully deserved thier win.
