After having played for 5 minutes, Gogo Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebracho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Quebracho FC's Santos Lekubegi got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quebracho FC's zone, Pascual Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Medardo came out of the goal and Pascual Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quebracho FC's Flavio Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Paio in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Locura Académica's Rafael Gilesindo got control of the ball when Santos Lekubegi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Lekubegi in the 15th minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Rafael Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Rafael Gilesindo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Rafael Gilesindo managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Quebracho FC's Gogo Etxekopar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the game, Quebracho FC's Gogo Etxekopar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Gilesindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Etxekopar in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Gilesindo saved Locura Académica from getting behind. The Quebracho FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Quebracho FC's Santos Lekubegi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Lekubegi got free with Rafael Gilesindo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Locura Académica's Rafael Gilesindo got control of the ball when Santos Lekubegi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romeo Carlomagno's late challenge caught a Locura Académica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Carlomagno helped the player get up and apologised. Roman Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Santos Lekubegi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Gilesindo came out and tried to block the shot, but Santos Lekubegi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 47th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascual Paio was the one to do the kick off. Romeo Carlomagno took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Gilesindo. Rafael Gilesindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Locura Académica's Rafael Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Carlomagno in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Quebracho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Faron to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Domingo Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locura Académica's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Medardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingo Alfonso hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Rafael Gilesindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Etxekopar went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Locura Académica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quebracho FC:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Lekubegi in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Gilesindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quebracho FC's Santos Lekubegi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Santos Lekubegi made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Gilesindo. Locura Académica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When Julio Gerazan came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Locura Académica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Gerazan couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Rolando Argi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Flavio Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quebracho FC had won after a very even match.
