Spectators: 7591 (Terracing: 5694, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dale Fawell took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rupert Pacheco hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Rupert Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dale Fawell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eldridge Talon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eldridge Talon came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Valiant F.C's Jay Little. But to his dismay, Jay Little quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute Armand Billings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glyn Wedlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Valiant F.C getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rex Hatcher hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Topsail's David Goddu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed David Goddu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Topsail protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and David Goddu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Topsail fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Jay Little could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Eldridge Talon made a huge save. Wesley Coogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eldridge Talon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Jay Little notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Topsail's Eldridge Talon. Eldridge Talon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Berry Giles scored 3-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glyn Wedlock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrice Dunn made a kick off. Fabrice Dunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glyn Wedlock having to interfere. The supporters of Valiant F.C booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jay Little recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Dale Fawell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eldridge Talon was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valiant F.C's goalkeeper Glyn Wedlock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Little came free, but Eldridge Talon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Berry Giles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, one of Topsail:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Topsail. Armand Billings hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eldridge Talon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Little, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 97th match minute, Topsail was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Giles to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Valiant F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
