Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Velez Sarsfield from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto de Amaral got free with Uriel Raymon in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the game, Richard-Dean Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Uriel Raymon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thiago de Lima showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 19 minute of play. Uriel Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto de Amaral in the 23rd minute of the match. Gilberto de Amaral hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Isaac Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Marcones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-2 at half-time.

The Velez Sarsfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Raymon should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the game, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Enio Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Raymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. When Richard-Dean Rodrigues got free in front of the goal in the 81st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Uriel Raymon was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto de Amaral in the 83rd minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Enio Gomes notched a goal, 9-2, to the right of Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon. Enio Gomes scored 11-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Raymon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Custódio in the 99th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BARBARIDADE G.M. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
