Zula Kensicki charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zula Kensicki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 7 minutes, Gerard Kok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zijdewind SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Kok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Ferdi Dekens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luc de Nooijer was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Zula Kensicki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zula Kensicki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Gooitzen Roswinkel got a free kick in the 21st minute. Luc de Nooijer stood somewhat misplaced when Konstanty Jaszcz came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstanty Jaszcz got free with Luc de Nooijer in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Konstanty Jaszcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luc de Nooijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Zijdewind SC's Luc de Nooijer got control of the ball when Konstanty Jaszcz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Konstanty Jaszcz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luc de Nooijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Dobromir Wiater got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zula Kensickis short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Luc de Nooijer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 46 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Damien Schimmel. A collision led to Zijdewind SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gooitzen Roswinkel hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstanty Jaszcz made a kick off. Konstanty Jaszcz scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luc de Nooijer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 56 played minutes GÓRNIK PSZÓW got a freekick which was hit by Konstanty Jaszcz. After a defensive mix-up in Zijdewind SC's zone, Konstanty Jaszcz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luc de Nooijer came out of the goal and Konstanty Jaszcz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luc de Nooijer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Kensicki in the 75th minute of play. Luc de Nooijer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Jaszcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
