Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nelsinho Ceresso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jamar Orlinsky kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Nelsinho Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goalkeeper Tomaž Turban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cole Whitfield. Tomaž Turban made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cole Whitfield sent off a good shot on target. Vincenzo Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Ceresso in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Nelsinho Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nitra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincenzo Barrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cascade Park West's zone, Nelsinho Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincenzo Barrera came out of the goal and Nelsinho Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomaž Turban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Stovall, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Nelson Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincenzo Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Pitta in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Doug Bermudez made the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Stovall struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tomaž Turban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascade Park West. Gilberto Stovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tomaž Turban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cole Whitfield in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomaž Turban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cole Whitfield to maneuver through the defense. Cole Whitfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomaž Turban having to interfere. Cole Whitfield blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomaž Turban having to make a save. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Allan Carson hit a great ball. Cascade Park West's Doug Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cole Whitfield kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cole Whitfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascade Park West's supporters rose to their feet, but Cole Whitfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
