The Cheetah Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörgen Qvalfeldt should have stopped the shot. Birger Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ergin Ceviz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Arif İsmet in the 35th minute of play. Darıca Gençlerbirliği's attentive Oğuzhan Sarıaslan managed to snatch the ball when Karl-Åke Wiklund made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. After 41 minutes of play Cheetah Team's Karl-Åke Wiklund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 41st match minute, Cheetah Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Wiklund to maneuver through the defense. The Cheetah Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Darıca Gençlerbirliği were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Arif İsmet to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Darıca Gençlerbirliği booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by İskender Baki Mücahit from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Jörgen Qvalfeldt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Çakır Kuray took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Qvalfeldt. Jörgen Qvalfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 90 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Jörgen Qvalfeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Arif İsmet.
