In the 71st minute, Denis Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes of play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Gabriel Toli made it 3-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Serafo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Erasmo Millrick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Serafo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-7. If Denis Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Soin came free, but Reynaldo Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ORIZABA F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
